Changing Tides Family Services provides strength-based, community-based services to support children, youth, and their families to lead happy, healthy lives.  Positive mental health is essential to achieve success in school, community activities, employment, and personal growth.

Changing Tides Family Services offers community based behavioral health services to children and youth up to age 21 who have full scope MediCAL insurance.  Services include: Individual Counseling Group Counseling Family Therapy Case Management Brokerage and Linkage Services to reduce behaviors that are interfering with success in school or child care Life skills development Social skills development Coaching parents to be the best they can be Evidence based practices including Solution Focused Brief Therapy Theraplay

Referrals:  Changing Tides Family Services is an Organizational Provider for Humboldt County Department of Health (DHHS) and Human Services Mental Health.  All referrals for mental health services are made through DHHS Mental Health Access—707-268-2800.

In addition to our office at 3300 Glenwood St., Eureka, services are provided in various locations throughout Humboldt County including school sites, Family Resource Centers, and community locations.
