Bilingual Child Care Case Manager

Under general supervision, this full- or part-time position interviews Spanish-speaking applicants to determine eligibility for subsidized child care programs; may assist parents in identifying their child care options and selecting a child care provider that will best meet the child’s and family’s needs; assists clients in determining eligible child care schedules; maintains a caseload of clients; ensures proper payment for authorized child care schedules; performs work in Spanish and English, verbally and in writing; performs related work as assigned. Course work in social services or related field and experience which has involved the explanation of rules and regulations to the public desired. Starts at $14.83/hr.

Child Care Specialist

Under general supervision,  this full-time, benefitted position provides a range of child care related services to child care providers, parents and child care programs operated by Changing Tides Family Services. Duties will vary among the essential functions depending upon work priorities as established by supervisor. 2 years’ experience in a position which directly interacts with the general public, and knowledge of child care services delivery modes is desirable. Starts at $13.42/hr.

Mental Health Support Specialist

This intermittent  position provides support to children, youth and families in a variety of settings including home, school, and community; provides 1:1 behavior coaching in a home, school or community setting; provides referral and linkage to community resources; provides parent education and support as directed. $18.00/hour. Must be able to pass DOJ/FBI criminal history fingerprint clearance and possess a valid CDL, current automobile insurance, and a vehicle for work.

Respite Worker

This intermittent position serves as a personal attendant to provide care and supervision of children or adults who have developmental disabilities, including but not limited to: autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy.  Performs work in family residences or, as approved, in community settings.  Starts at $12.26/hour plus mileage reimbursement. Respite Specialist

This intermittent position serves as a personal attendant to provide care and supervision of children or adults who have developmental disabilities, including but not limited to: autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy and who also engage in challenging behaviors.  Performs work in family residences or, as approved, in community settings. Starts at $14.25/hour plus mileage reimbursement. Skills Specialist

This intermittent position provides behavioral and support services to children and adults who have developmental disabilities; uses intervention strategies that reflect evidence based practices to increase developmentally appropriate skills as overseen by a behavioral consultant; as assigned, performs personal attendant duties; performs related work as assigned.  Work is generally performed within the focus individual’s residence or (as approved) in community settings.  Starts at $14.25/hour plus mileage reimbursement.
